How we work
A clear process, no surprises.
From first conversation to launch and beyond: what happens, when, and what you get at each step.
How does a Qodexify project run?
Every project follows five phases: discover, design, build, launch and support. We work in short cycles, show you working software every week or two and keep a prioritised backlog so scope changes are deliberate. A typical first demo arrives in 2–3 weeks, and a typical MVP is live in 8–12 weeks.
Five phases
From idea to launch and beyond
Discover · 1–2 weeks
We learn your goals, users and constraints, map the process and agree what to build first and what to leave out.
- • Scope and success measures
- • User flows and wireframes
- • Technical plan and estimate
Design · 1–3 weeks
Clickable prototypes let you and your users try the idea before we build it fully.
- • Interactive prototype
- • Visual design
- • Prioritised backlog
Build · Weeks 3–10
We build in short cycles and demo working software every week or two.
- • Weekly demos
- • Automated tests and code review
- • A staging site you can use
Launch · 1–2 weeks
We harden security, load test, set up monitoring and backups, and release with a rollback plan.
- • Security and performance checks
- • Monitoring and backups
- • Launch support
Support · Ongoing
We fix, improve and extend, or hand over to your team with full documentation.
- • Maintenance and monitoring
- • Improvement cycles
- • Handover if you prefer
Working together
How we keep projects on track
Weekly visibility
A demo of working software and a short written update every week or two, so you always know where things stand.
One prioritised backlog
Everything lives in one list, ordered by value. Changes are a conversation about trade-offs, not a surprise invoice.
Quality built in
Automated tests, code review and a staging environment on every project, not just the big ones.
You own everything
Source code, documentation and infrastructure access are yours from day one of delivery.
Honest scoping
We help you cut version one down to what matters, and we say so when something is not worth building. See our 8-week MVP plan.
Responsible use of AI
We use AI tools to move faster, with human review and testing on everything we ship. See our AI coding assistants guide.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How soon will I see something working?
Most projects have a first working demo within two to three weeks, then a new demo every week or two.
What do you need from me?
A named decision maker, access to the people who use the software, and fast answers to questions. Decisions that wait a week cost a week.
What if my requirements change?
They usually do. We keep a prioritised backlog, review it with you regularly and agree what to add, swap or defer.
Who will I talk to?
You will have one main point of contact and direct access to the engineers doing the work.
Do you document the work?
Yes. You receive source code, documentation and infrastructure access, so you are never dependent on us.
What happens after launch?
We stay on for a stabilisation period and offer maintenance and improvement plans, or hand over to your team.
